Our school year is off to a slow start, but we have started! Hallelujah!
We've started by doing math everyday. This is something they can start with out me hovering over their shoulder everyday. K and P are in a race to see who can finish their math book first this year. In addition, I've recently implemented a new chore/reward system that includes their school work and, so far, this has really helped to motivate them each day. More on that another time.
This week, we have also managed to get in Lesson 1 of Mystery of History (MOH) and a science lesson from Alpha Omega Institute called "Creation vs. Evolution." Our only problem so far is that we can't find the remote to the DVD player and it doesn't come equipped with "Disney FastPlay" :D Oh, well. Tomorrow, when we do the second lesson on the DVD, I'll have to run it on the computer.
